Today, Congresswoman Betty McCollum (DFL-Minn.) announced the first round of investments in repairing Minnesota bridges under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act she and four Minnesota Democratic colleagues helped pass into law. All Minnesota Republicans voted against the bill. McCollum's effort delivers $60.4 million for Minnesota to fix bridges this year in FY 2022, part of a total $302.2 million investment over the next five years.

Last year, House and Senate Democrats advanced legislation to fund the Department of Defense for fiscal year 2022 – with increases over last year's funding.
