Litigation against the Trump Administration

My fellow Democrats and I in the U.S. House are defending civil rights, the rule of law, and the Constitution against illegal actions taken by unelected billionaire Elon Musk and his enabler President Trump. As a Member of Congress, I do not have standing to file lawsuits against the federal government. Only the Speaker of the House can file lawsuits on behalf of Congress. However, I can assist the lawsuits launched by external organizations by filing an amicus brief in support of their litigation and add insight into the effect of Elon Musk and President Trump’s actions on the people of Minnesota.
I have joined the following Amicus Briefs in support of lawsuits against the Trump Administration:
- Amicus brief in defense of American consumers and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) in the matter of National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU), et al. v. CFPB Acting Director Russell Vought, et al. before the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia.
