Service Academy Nominations

Thank you for your interest in the U.S. Service Academies. As your Fourth District Representative in the U.S. House of Representatives, each year I have the privilege of nominating a limited number of people to four of the five service academies. The honor of attending a service academy comes with an obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.

Applications for a nomination to the U.S. Service Academies – Class of  2025 – may be submitted starting September 14, 2020; deadline for application is close of business on Monday, November 2, 2020.

Nomination packets must be submitted by mail through the U.S. Postal Service (postmarked no later than November 2, 2020) or delivered by a courier service. The District Office is not open to the public and cannot accept personal delivery of nomination applications. Thank you for understanding.

For general information, please see the frequently asked questions for those seeking a Service Academy Nomination page.

Any questions related to a U.S. Service Academy nomination, may be directed to Connie Haddeland, U.S. Service Academy Coordinator, who may be best reached at this time by email at or at 651-224-9191 by leaving a message.
