Congresswoman Betty McCollum (DFL-Minn.), member of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Agriculture-Rural Development-Food and Drug Administration, today joined House Appropriations Democrats in voting to approve the subcommittee's FY 2020 funding bill. The bill provides $24.31 billion to invest in rural community infrastructure, food programs for those in need at home and abroad, medical product innovation and food and drug safety activities, programs that serve farmers and ranchers, agriculture research, and more.
Congresswoman Betty McCollum (DFL-Minn.) today joined House Appropriations Democrats in voting to approve the FY 2020 Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development funding bill, which provides $137.1 billion in budgetary resources, an increase of $6 billion from the 2019 level, to invest in America's infrastructure by improving transportation safety, protecting vulnerable populations, building resilience to climate change, and expanding access to safe, affordable, and fair housing.
