Saint Paul, MN – This morning, the United States Supreme Court allowed lower court rulings in favor of same-sex marriage to stand unchallenged, leading to the immediate recognition of marriage equality in Indiana, Oklahoma, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Eventually, this decision will lead to marriage equality in thirty states and the District of Columbia.
Washington, DC – Today, U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder announced his resignation, following nearly six years leading the Department of Justice. In response, Congresswoman Betty McCollum (DFL-MN-04) issued the following statement:
