On Wednesday evening, the House of Representatives voted in a bipartisan fashion to reject Republicans’ extreme continuing resolution (CR) that would have curtailed Americans’ voting rights while providing insufficient funding for key agencies and government functions. The proposal failed on a vote of 202-220.

"Hamas’ murder of Israeli-American citizen Hersh Goldberg-Polin and five other Israeli hostages is devastating. My heart goes out to their families. I stand with families demanding that the Netanyahu government reach a hostage release and ceasefire agreement immediately. The remaining hostages must come home alive, and the unbearable conflict in Gaza must end."
