Washington, DC - Today, Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN-04) issued the following statement for the record in support of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation Continuation Act (H.R. 6419). This emergency legislation would have extended unemployment insurance for Americans who are still unable to find employment. Without H.R. 6419, two million Americans will immediately lose these critical benefits.

The total cost of the Central Corridor is $957 million with 50% of the cost paid by the federal government with appropriated federal funds.
