McCollum Issues Vote in Support of Strengthening Veterans’ Health Services

Washington, DC - Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN-04) issued the following statement, regarding her vote in support of the Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act. This legislation will provide support to family and others who care for disabled, ill, or injured veterans; enhance health services for 1.8 million women veterans, including care for newborns; expand mental health services for veterans and health care access for veteran in rural areas; and prohibit copayments for veterans who are catastrophically disabled.
"Every day, the men and women in the military risk their lives to serve and protect our country. After they return home, our armed forces and their families deserve the best services the government can offer," said Congresswoman McCollum. "The Caregivers and Veterans Omnibus Health Services Act ensures all our veterans will have full access to the quality health care they deserve."
