McCollum Condemns Oslo Bombing and Calls for Unity with the People of Norway

Washington, DC – Congresswoman Betty McCollum, co-chair of the Congressional Friends of Norway Caucus, issued the following statement in response to news reports of a massive explosion in Oslo, Norway earlier today.

“The reports of loss of life, injuries, and extensive property damage following the bombing and shooting in Norway today are of great concern to me and all Minnesotans. This senseless terrorist act must be condemned by all civilized nations and all people who seek peace. I want to extend my prayers and condolences to the people of Norway and let them know that their friends in America stand with them – always.”
