McCollum Statement on President Trump's Withdrawal from the Paris Agreement

Congresswoman Betty McCollum (DFL-Minn.) released the following statement after President Donald Trump formally announced the United States' withdrawal from the Paris Agreement on climate change:

"As our planet and humanity face the very real threat of climate change, this White House and the Republican Congress have isolated our nation by reneging on the Paris Agreement. This decision will make President Trump a pariah in the international community and severely damages the United States' credibility among our allies. The world community cannot trust President Trump and neither should the American people."
