McCollum to Hold Virtual Field Hearings on Impact of Federal Funding from the American Rescue Plan on Fourth District Students, Families, and Communities

Congresswoman Betty McCollum (DFL-Minn.) will host three virtual field hearings this week to hear testimony from leaders of Fourth Congressional District cities, counties, and school districts on each entity's use of more than $500 million in federal American Rescue Plan pandemic relief. Congresswoman McCollum and Fourth District residents will have the opportunity to hear from witnesses on how American Rescue Plan funds are being spent to impact public health, jobs, and help families and communities Build Back Better.

Congresswoman McCollum helped pass this comprehensive relief law to deliver critical aid to local governments, keep essential workers on the job, expand vaccines and testing, extend aid to small businesses and workers, keep schools open and safe for children, and provide support for families in need.
