Eight Organizations in MN-04 Will Receive Grants to Benefit Our Community

Congresswoman Betty McCollum (DFL-Minn.) celebrated the announcement that $2,327,046 will be awarded to eight organizations in Minnesota's Fourth Congressional District to fund AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) projects:

"Minnesota leads the way in volunteerism, and I'm proud of the positive impact AmeriCorps VISTAs have made in our neighborhoods," Rep. McCollum said. "These federal funds will boost the capacity of eight fabulous local organizations to continue delivering vital services to strengthen our community – from increasing access to health care and nutrition, to supporting youth and improving literacy during this time of COVID. I'm proud to play an instrumental role in delivering these critical funds to our district as a member of the House Appropriations Committee."
