MNsure - Minnesota's Health Insurance Marketplace
A key piece of the Affordable Care Act was the creation of health insurance marketplaces. Our state elected to establish a state-based marketplace, MNsure, in order to best meet the needs of Minnesota families and businesses. Starting October 1, 2013, Minnesotans will be able to access MNsure to compare and purchase affordable health coverage that begins on January 1, 2014. MNsure will give Minnesotans more choice and control over their health insurance.
The Marketplace is where:
- individuals, families, and small businesses can compare plans and access tax credits to help purchase health insurance
- sign up for public health programs if eligible
About MNsure - MNsure is designed to help you and your family find health insurance that will cover your needs and fit your budget.
