Washington, DC –Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN-04) today released the following statement regarding the horrific shooting at the Fort Hood Army Base in Texas that left at least 12 dead and over 30 wounded, including soldiers and military personnel: “My thoughts and condolences are with the families of the victims of the horrific shooting at the Fort Hood Army Base. The entire nation is shocked and saddened by this senseless act,” said Congresswoman McCollum. Congresswoman Betty McCollum (MN-4) serves on the House Appropriations & Budget Committees. |
