Workshops

The Department of Commerce's National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and the Department of Agriculture's Rural Utilities Service (RUS) will conduct - between July 7 and July 24, 2009 - the first series of public workshops about the application process for $4 billion in broadband grants and loans under the Recovery Act. Workshops will include an overview of BTOP-BIP programs, a review of the application process for NTIA and RUS grants and loans, and individual meetings with Rural Development headquarters and field staff.

Pre-registration for all workshops is available online at www.broadbandusa.gov or by faxing the attached form. A Welcome Reception is held from 6pm-9pm the evening before each workshop. Registration also is available at the Welcome Reception and throughout the day of each event. All workshops run from 8am - 5:30pm local time.
